Well well well… It looks like Verizon has decided to fight back against the full on assault they have been taking from the iPhone 3G. They have given their employees a briefing about the new iPhone’s failings so that they can better answer questions about why Verizon does not carry the phone. The propeganda that they handed employees revolved around what they called the four big “myths” about the iPhone.

AT&T and Apple stores nationwide are preparing for the iPhone 3G launch scheduled for this coming Friday. The preparations include the installation of oversized iPhone 3G store displays (similar if not identical to those used for the original iphone launch) that show the phone’s features as they would be seen on the phone. The memo supposedly referred to a to date unknown feature of the iPhone 3G that would allow the device to take text messages and attach photos, audio and movies and integrate them into super MMS like messages. I am very skeptical of this report as I don’t think that a feature like this would have made it through the WWDC keynote without being touted by Steve Jobs.
