How to put your iPhone into DFU Mode

It seems that a major issue that some have when jailbreaking is that they don’t understand exactly how to put their iPhone into DFU mode. Here are the steps that you need to follow to put properly enter DFU mode with your iPhone:

  • Connect your iPhone to your computer and make sure that iTunes is running
  • Press both the Power and Home buttons for 7 seconds. After the 7 seconds the screen will turn black. 2 seconds after the screen turns black release the Power button but continue holding the home button.

  • Wait 10 seconds (continuing to hold the Home button) and iTunes will recognize the phone.

    I did that and it said that there was a problem trying to restore iphone my phone is jailbroken it was working fine but it got stuck so i rebooted then it never came back so i tried dfu mode and it didn’t work anymore ideas
